Narberth Traders meeting 2014
Following past comments and a meeting at our AGM, the Winter Carnival Committee are holding a meeting this Wednesday (26th) at the Queens Hall to invite local traders to have their input on how they would like to see the Winter Carnival in 2014. This can be suggestions, requests and more plus we can help answer many myths surrounding Winter Carnival.
To be held on Wednesday 26th March at The Queens Hall – Balcony Room at 7pm.
The aim of this meeting is to try and ensure that the winter carnival can continue to take place and, with any luck flourish – therefore bringing more business to the town in future.
It will be a great time to answer any questions that anyone may have. The more common questions that we hear are –
- Why are there caterers (e.g. burger vans) from out of the town in Narberth on a winter carnival night?
- Why should we donate anything towards the winter carnival when our business gains nothing from it?
- There is not much that takes place during the day-time of the winter carnival day itself, why is this?
We would also like the opportunity during the meeting to inform every one of the behind the scenes work that goes in to the winter carnival and of ideas that we have to bring it back to life.
It would be great to see you at the meeting, make the most of it, come along and voice your opinions / concerns in a completely unbiased environment. The more input we get – the more we can do. If we don’t hear your questions / opinions then we can’t answer them and your voice will get lost amongst the crowd.
If you are unable to make the meeting and have any questions / concerns that you would like to be taken to the meeting on your behalf please feel free to email us. info AT narberthwintercarnival.co.uk
